Edible Gifts Class – Get ready for the festive season with this very hands on course. You will make a range of sweet and savoury treats that you can give beautifully packaged to friends and family (or keep for yourself!). This course will help relieve the worry about what to give as gifts at Christmas as well as discovering some new delicious recipes. All packaging will be provided and you will leave with plenty of tasty items to share. Typical recipes include – Fruit and Nut Biscotti, Sweet Chilli Jam, Chocolate Bombs, Spiced Frosted Nuts, Strawberry and Black Pepper Shortbread, Hot Chocolate Stirrers, Apple Chutney, Parmesan Biscuits.

Mums, Dads, Carers, Aunties, Uncles and Grandparents are very welcome to attend with those mini chefs under 10 years old whilst those budding chefs over 10 can join the class on their own or with friends. A great idea for school holiday fun and also getting a few new recipes under your belt before Halloween arrives! Typical areas which may be covered – Spooky Spider Pizzas, Halloween Cookies, Wiggly Pastry Snakes, Pumpkin Patch Brownies and Slime Cupcakes.

Whilst this course is not guaranteed to totally undo all those extra mince pies, you will definitely learn some new easy swaps that you can introduce into your mealtimes to make some easy, healthier choices. On this course you will work in groups to create a 3 course meal that you will then sit and eat at our large dining table whilst all the tidying and washing up is taken care of for you!
