Edible Gifts Class – Get ready for the festive season with this very hands on course. You will make a range of sweet and savoury treats that you can give beautifully packaged to friends and family (or keep for yourself!). This course will help relieve the worry about what to give as gifts at Christmas as well as discovering some new delicious recipes. All packaging will be provided and you will leave with plenty of tasty items to share. Typical recipes include – Fruit and Nut Biscotti, Sweet Chilli Jam, Chocolate Bombs, Spiced Frosted Nuts, Strawberry and Black Pepper Shortbread, Hot Chocolate Stirrers, Apple Chutney, Parmesan Biscuits.
Tapas Class – If you have ever wanted to recreate those magical Spanish holiday moments of tucking into delicious home-made Tapas then this is the course for you! In our very hands-on course you will discover how easy it is to make a range of traditional Tapas dishes that you can take home with you to share with friends and family. Come and join us for a fun few hours making some of the tastiest recipes from Spain. Typical areas covered – Patatas Bravas, Croquettes, Smoky Paprika Chicken, Tortilla, Romesco Sauce, Chorizo and Chickpea Stew
Kids Halloween Cooking Class – come and join us for another great, fun filled cooking adventure as we get ready for Autumn and all things Spookatcular!! This course is a fantastic seasonal treat to keep little (and not so little!) ones entertained throughout the school holidays. The course is very hands on and everyone will take home not only lots of delicious tasting goodies but also some new found cooking skills. Mums, Dads, Carers, Aunties, Uncles and Grandparents are very welcome to attend with those mini chefs under 10 years old whilst those budding chefs over 10 can join the class on their own or with friends. A great idea for school holiday fun and also getting a few new recipes under your belt before Halloween arrives! Typical areas which may be covered – Spooky Spider Pizzas, Halloween Cookies, Wiggly Pastry Snakes, Pumpkin Patch Brownies and Slime Cupcakes.

Healthy Eating Cooking Class – come and join us for this fun and informative cooking class where you will discover how easy it is to make your favourite family dinners more healthy. After the indulgences of the Festive Period, kick start the new year with a revision to your culinary skills and revamp those mid week suppers whilst learning a little about nutrition and alternative ingredients. Whilst this course is not guaranteed to totally undo all those extra mince pies, you will definitely learn some new easy swaps that you can introduce into your mealtimes to make some easy, healthier choices. Perfect for novice cooks or those with more experience looking for a few new recipes. Typical dishes covered – Prawn and Salmon Fishcakes, Chicken Jalfrezi, Braised Chicken, Healthy Lasagne with home made pasta, Superfood Fish Pie, Healthy Swedish Meatballs, Bento Boxes, Healthy Hummous…… and many more exciting dishes!

Confident Cuisine – this 4 week course each Friday is designed to fill you with extra confidence in the kitchen as well as providing you with inspirational new recipes. You will cover a wide range of skills including knife skills, sauce making and fish preparation to name just a few. Each week you will prepare a range of delicious dishes to take home to share with your friends and family whilst developing your culinary skills. This course is perfect for those with no previous cooking experience as well as those who wish to progress on their cooking journey. Come and join us for a fun filled few hours.
Example dishes made – stuffed pork tenderloin, jointed chicken with 3 different recipes, sweet potato and butternut squash Thai curry, home made Naan breads and Onion Bhajis, homemade pasta with coriander pesto, parsnip and pear soup with soda bread, mini pavlovas, individual sticky toffee puddings, meringue roulade.
Vegan Baking and Desserts – be amazed at all the brilliant sweet treats you can create using an array of plant based ingredients. If you are lacking experience in baking vegan products then this is the course for you! Learn how to make delicious recipes to add to your repertoire and gain confidence in the kitchen.

Student Survival Course – The perfect course for any young person venturing to live away from home who may struggle to know where to begin in the kitchen! This course is less fine-dining and more nutritional, affordable, easy recipes that a student with limited time or space can easily recreate. If you are about to leave for University and have never really cooked anything much more than toast, then this is the course you definitely need to prevent you living on takeaways, Pot Noodles or microwave meals! Typical areas covered – Shakshuka, Sweet Potato Curry, Sausage Pasta Ragu, Chicken Enchilladas, Lemon Chicken Tray bake with Spiced Wedges, One Pot Chilli, Spaghetti Puttanesca.
If you are looking for a fun, team building evening for you and your colleagues then consider an evening class at Pippins Cookery School. On this course you will work in groups to create a 3 course meal that you will then sit and eat at our large dining table whilst all the tidying and washing up is taken care of for you! This is a great and unusual way to spend a lovely evening together with your work friends.
